Hurry to the polling place. Early voting has begun and will continue until February 28. With our primary system in a county dominated by one party, you absolutely must vote in the primary to have any substantial impact on our political landscape. Don’t be one of those people that blow off voting, because you think it doesn’t matter. Many of the races at the county level this year will have a direct impact on your life, people you know, and your pocket book. If you’re thinking, “I’m just one vote…” Then carpool! Round up a few like minded people and take a small voting block to the polls. If you’re thinking, “I don’t know anything about the candidates…” Then call a person you trust that does. In 5 minutes I can give you a pretty good rundown of the political races taking place in the Tarrant County criminal justice system. In a few races there is a clear choice among candidates. Other races, you probably couldn’t go wrong. For Tarrant County dates, times, and polling places CLICK HERE. If you’re still unsure, get your driver’s license and visit the Texas Secretary of State website. If you have some questions, the Secretary of State has that covered, too.
