Cody Cofer and his criminal defense firm moved!

New Location 300 Throckmorton Street, Suite 500

After almost 4 years of growing our firm at 111 Houston, we decided it was time to make a change. One City Place is the the new home of Cofer Law. Thank you to Jerry Loftin, Dale, and Brenda for their great support during our years in their building. The firm is excited about the new location that offers more privacy for clients and some modern amenities that will make our practice more efficient.

All of the firm members helped with the move! A special thanks to Keith and Darrell! You guys were amazing, and we could not have done it without you.

Old War Room of Cofer Law Trial Team

Many trials and investigations were planned in this room. The walls were lined with whiteboards surrounding a long conference table. It was a great place to conduct depositions and client meetings. This actually was Cody Cofer’s office. So, imagine normal desk clutter, and then imagine that same density covering a 12 foot conference table. From chaos, genius…sometimes.

The Old Office of Lauren Crisera and Chelsi McLarty

Originally, Cody Cofer occupied this office. He moved from an office (broom closet) down the hall into this space. At the time, Brian Boufard just moved out and Charlie Roach was next door. Eventually, Cofer Law grew into the surrounding space. Then Lauren Crisera moved into the office and later Chelsi McLarty moved in to share with her. At the new office at 300 Throckmorton, Lauren and Chelsi have their own offices. Also, Cody has a normal office and a separate conference room.

Supply Closet Office at Cofer Law

Originally, this was a supply closet and storage room. With a fresh coat of paint by Dori Boone-Costantino it transformed into an attorney office for Matt Davidson. Eventually, the space was converted into a staff office that housed two work stations. Several law students passed through this office clerking for Cofer Law.

Welcome to Cofer Law! How can we help you?

This was the reception area where Hayley greeted thousands of clients. From this little corner and window she essentially ran the entire operation. Don’t worry, Hayley’s beautiful smile will be there to greet our old and new clients at the 300 Throckmorton location. The new waiting area provides more client privacy and more stylish and comfortable seating.

You have arrived at Cofer Law!

A substantial portion of the very modest budget Cody Cofer started his law firm with was devoted to having decent signs. You can be the best lawyer in Texas, but no one will know if they can’t find you! This sign marked the front window of the Cofer Law office.

Rise From the Rubble!

One doesn’t realize just how much collects over 4 years in a law office. During the move to 300 Throckmorton, Cofer Law is doing a little “Spring Cleaning” in the fall. Don’t worry the stress of the move did not trigger Diogenes syndrome. We just have some sorting to do. Each workspace has been stripped down to be as efficient as possible. With the extremely high speed internet available at the new office our VOIP phone system and multiple computers are running better than ever.

Where is Cody Cofer located?

Cofer Law moved to 300 Throckmorton Street, Suite 500. The new office is two blocks from the Tim Curry Justice Center where the Tarrant County criminal courts are located. You enter the building from either Throckmorton (across the street from Trinity Bicycles) or you can enter from 3rd Street (across from Piranha Killer Sushi). Then take the elevator up to the 5th Floor. The law firm is located in Suite 500, right off of the elevators.
