Juror Scam in Tarrant Count – Update
Update on previous post about jury duty scam in Tarrant County, TX. Another friend was just contacted by someone claiming to be with the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office. The caller claimed the person missed jury duty and had a warrant out for their arrest. Then the scammer insisted the person meet them at Walgreens to pay their $900 fine to lift the warrant.
The phone number used most recently is 817-357-9029, and the person is using a fake badge number 206L41.
As mentioned in our previous post, Tarrant County has already provided information about these scams.
The county says that a representative will not contact you by phone.
